Founding Author Agreement

What you get
One year of PajamaInk as a Founding Author: a custom profile, reader matching, the smart buy button, author analytics and one founding audio campaign (a 30-second audio spot, a 30-second audiogram video and a 15-second cut), placed on PajamaInk’s own channels. Paid media is not included and is quoted separately.
Price and billing
$500, billed once by Crimson Horse Inc. when you claim your seat. Taxes are added where the law requires. Seats are numbered 1 to 50 and are allocated in the order they are paid for.
When your year starts
Your year starts the day your profile goes live, not the day you pay. We review every founding profile by hand before it goes live.
Refunds
Founding seats are non-refundable, because our team builds each founding profile by hand. That is why we review applications before you pay. If a payment reaches us when there is no seat left to give you, we refund it in full.
Renewal and price lock
You can renew at $500 a year for as long as you renew without a break. We will never renew you without asking.
Your content
You keep all rights to your books, words, photos and recordings. You give PajamaInk permission to show them on your profile and in PajamaInk’s discovery, emails and social channels, and to use them in your audio campaign. You confirm you have the right to everything you upload.
Reader emails
Readers can choose to share their email with you when they follow you. When they do, you become responsible for that list under data-protection law: use it only for your own newsletter and honour every unsubscribe.
